Every summer has its' own story.

My retail space, at Counting Sheep Antiques, was transformed to reflect Paris in Summertime, and filled with French linen grain sacks, vintage madeleine pans, hand-crafted pillows and a sweet farmer's garden table.

After stuffing Kane's doughnuts and iced coffees into our faces, we headed to the Todd Farm Flea Market  in Rowley for the first time and discovered lots of great finds!

My garden is yielding gorgeous zinnias and cosmos thanks  to the heat & humidity.  I, on the other hand, am wilting :-(

A big step for me, professionally, happened when I found a great paint contact in Concord and not only got my first "fan deck" (also known as 3500 paint chips :O) but got the Contractor's discount!  They like me...they really like me! It was one of those moments<3

One last and very exciting piece of summer news is that as of August 1st, I will also be at a second location.  After my flowers started showing up at Counting Sheep, a customer inquired about my working with her. She is about to open a floral design shop and wants to have 2 vendors come in and sell flowers and other vintage items including furniture, framed pictures and gift items, and I will be one of those vendors.  The shop is Fleur du Jour in Leominster at 5 West Street. I hope you'll come to visit and share some of your summer with me!

One must maintain a little bittle of summer even in the middle of winter.    H.D. Thoreau
