The vintage ski lodge...shopping & collecting.

The next step in the interior styling process for me is to let the inspiration carry me wherever it will.  That means for a day or two or many, I envision what I want the space to look like. A lot of those thoughts are unrealistic...like a blazing fire in the fireplace with the snow gently falling out the window, even when the driveway's muddy because it's 50 degrees outside. As my mind conjures up pictures of ski lodges in bucolic settings. I think about what decorative accessories I already have and what I'll need to search for. The hunt could begin in a friends barn or attic...

The hunt continues in Littleton, New Hampshire at Just L Antiques, where I find some vintage wooden skis in great shape. Another stop at Marshalls, TJ Maxx as well as anything along the road THAT'S FREE. I'll collect anything for my cause.

The collecting phase of my work has come to an end. Now I can create my action plan and get ready to IMPLEMENT!! Hope you'll stick around...
