The Christmas season felt very different this year. With time to shop, cook, decorate, volunteer, work and be with family and friends, it was missing the usual feeling of being over- whelmed. My month began at a summer photo shoot for Garnet Hill in New Hampshire and several planning meetings getting ready for a office makeover that was happening just before the holiday. Vignette Home Design stayed busy at Counting Sheep Antiques In Berlin, Mass. and established a new wholesale relationship with Wilson Farm in Lexington, where we supplied our clients with beautiful wreaths, greens and berries. More to come next Christmas, as I figure out the process & delivery! Birch reindeer designed in the shop made their way to dining room tables and I lost myself creating a miniature skating scene in my living room. The Community Supper at The Union Church in Stow serves a free-of-charge meal the 3rd Friday of each month and I was honored to make bread pudding and create bud vases for the tables.
Brooklyn, New York and Portland, Maine are family...

Happy New Year to all and look forward to new changes here at Vignette's BLOG page!
